giveaways
free stuff for you.
Have some swag, on us. We've worked for agencies before where it was necessary to register to receive anything of quality. It was a tradeoff... those places give something away, but they want your contact information in return. Follow up phone calls, emails, and carrier pidgeons are a given.
Here are some things you can read and use, on us. Take them for free, without leaving your contact info. If you find them useful, spread them around. If you have ideas on how to change them at all, please let us know. We change our offerings from time to time here on the giveaways page, so come back after a bit.
And thanks for visiting.

SEO basics
Part of any good web strategy is attention paid to search engine optimization ( SEO ). This is the art and science of making your pages more alluring to the spiders of Google and others so that your site comes up higher in the returns. Ths means more traffic for you.
The various major search engines deploy autonomous programs called spiders to crawl the web and gather information on all sites they come into contact. These spiders navigate site to site by traversing links, and by virtue of “remembering” the paths they travel are able to bring a good deal of information back to the search engines that created them. This information is built into a catalog, and is then indexed. When you type in and submit a search on a search engine’s webpage, your query is bounced against the index that search engine has created. Depending on the quality of the index, specific and relevant items might be found in the index and listed as returns. Get the paper.

MySpace - a Contract for Parents and Teens
The world of today’s teenager is a complex one, with identity and reputation being a function of many different things. These things are naturally important to a teen, and when they touch on issues such as online social networks there are certain considerations that merit discussion between teens and their parents. As these social websites become more an accepted part of the lives of many teenagers, their use can carry important considerations.
Parents and teens can use this contract as a starting point for that discussion and a sort of map as to what’s safe, and what’s expected. After reading through this contract and spelling out the specifics of behavior and consequences of activity on these types of sites, both the teen and the parents should sign and date this contract. After a month, review the progress and the specifics written here, and make necessary changes based on privileges and activity. Get the paper.
